Hedgehog Close wins SILVER at EVCOM Clarion Awards 2017

'Hedgehog Close' received silver at this year's EVCOM Clarion awards. The two minute stop-motion film, which I produced and filmed, was created to promote Hedgehog Awareness Week and shared widely on social media, with over 850,000 views! The film suggested five ways to help hedgehogs within private gardens and involved designing and building a scale model within which stop-motion hedgehogs could travel between gardens to illustrate 'Hedgehog Highways.'

The film was kindly narrated by Gordon Buchanan and Wounded Buffalo provided the superb foley and sound design. Watch the award-winning film HERE.

The first programme is due to be aired on BBC2 on 3rd November.

I’m back on Wednesday so excited to see the development! In the meantime, other fantastic webcams can be viewed LIVE on the Springwatch website.
